Kurzbeschreibung	An English translation of 1) passages from chapter four of part II dealing with the usage of simple meter signatures as they indicate 'character' and tempo in performance, and 2) the section 'Observations on the uneven meters with three beats' from part II, discussing the rhythmic characteristics and the general significance of the 3/1, 3/2, 3/4, 3/8, 3/16, 6/4, 6/8, 9/2, 9/8, 9/16, and 18/16 meter signatures.
