Kurzbeschreibung	Bach's sonata in D for solo clavier is modelled after Kuhnau's sonata in F from Frische Klavier-Fruchte. The sonata in A minor is a complete transcription of Hortus Musicus I by J. A. Reinken. The sonata in C is a transcription of the sonata and allemande of Hortus Musicus II, but the fugal section is completely rewritten. The sonata in D minor is a transcription of Bach's sonata in A minor for solo violin.
